Andalusia Welcomes claim social participation of foreigners as the integration backbone

General Assembly at its nineteenth meeting in Malaga, the 60 members have thought about the right to citizenship for immigrants and formal recognition.

Andalusia Welcomes organization in asambleario debate claiming the right to citizenship as a maximum horizon of social integration of immigrants. In this vein, highlighting the achievement of the right to vote as a major challenge, but not only, in the process of full citizenship. While Article 23 of the English Constitution recognizes the right of citizens to participate in public affairs, this participation is limited to people with English nationality and in any case, coming from third countries with which it has reciprocal , thus leaving a large margin population group. This reciprocity mechanism migrants generate first and second category, some with rights and others without. Andalusia Welcomes commitment to eliminate these differences.

Noting further trimming of rights that the new Aliens Act has led to immigrants living in Spain, the agency claims that Act Regulations which is prepared at this time, not just an element of management migratory flows but attend to the management of diversity, promoting social participation of immigrants. Andalusia Welcomes asked to turn in these Regulations shall be interpreted favorably important aspects for the immigrant population as flexible renewal of permits taking into account the participation of the person in public employment policies.

Aside from the debate about citizenship and social participation, the institution has adopted numerous internal documents to ensure quality management. Including a Code of Ethics Financial highlights a common commitment to transparency and accountability, common principles and practices adopted by betting on the diversification of funds.

Assembly at its nineteenth entity endorses the ideal of universal justice that puts first human dignity, with a special memory of Abdoulaye Kone asylum seekers and freedom to travel on English territory, whose death is the result of an unjust system of immigration control. For the entity remains the cornerstone, and continued rallying, Article 13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which recognizes the right of everyone to freedom of movement. -------------------------------------------------
