The proposal Association of Architects for the border in May 2009 and the days of urban revitalization of San José and Sources in September 2009 and June 2010 provide an overview of the neighborhoods of East that deserves to be analyzed. The shared assessment is that San Jose, Las Fuentes and La Jota-Vadorrey are in a vulnerable position which is not bad but could worsen if no action is taken to revitalize sociourbanística.
This article deals mainly urban character proposed for the neighborhoods of Las Fuentes and San Jose, without having to forget the La Jota-Vadorrey, on the left, which can be analyzed and intervention relatively independent. The intervention must be based on five criteria of an Overview:
a) Participation. 1 .- Three integrated rehabilitation areas in the old part of San Jose, (between San Jose Avenue, Cesareo Alierta, Camino Cabaldós and Privilege of the Union) in the upper quarter of San José and in the old part of Las Fuentes, around labor groups. Must be addressed not only residential rehab but also the improvement of public space.
2 .- Opening Samos Monastery Street. Facilitate urban renewal of the old town of San José, allows the construction Public parking on the street, maintaining green space in the Plaza Reina Sofía, and the disappearance of the downstream traffic on San Jose Avenue, will facilitate urban renewal, with wide sidewalks and enhancement of existing trade. 3 .-
Alierta Cesáreo Renewal. By eliminating unnecessary and six-lane underpass under the World Road to facilitate connection with the Miraflores Park neighborhood of San Jose, the provision of underground parking for residents at the height of the Monastery of Samos and continuity Boulevard Constitution Hall to Prince Philip watching the tram and making this avenue a wooded urban space habitable.
4 .- Trace of the east-west tram by Cesareo Alierta , which runs through areas with higher population and demand, connecting equipment such as the veterinary school, Prince Philip Hall and the new football stadium with downtown. 5 .-
cultural facilities and green area in the factory The Zaragozana . This is an industrial area located in the city. The general plan provides for their replacement by a large number of houses in a neighborhood that has already excessive density. Integration of the new stadium and its effects in the sectors 38-2 to 38-6, changing its management to address the needs of parking, pedestrian connections between the stadium and the station near Miraflores, the continued residential and small business in Tenor Fleta to the stadium and especially the integration of these sectors in the green ring of Zaragoza.
